I’m a Temporary Employee- when do I become eligible for benefits?
If you are a Temporary Employee, you will be eligible on the first day of the second calendar month after you have accumulated at least 800 hours during any six consecutive month period. You will be eligible for coverage for the six consecutive calendar months beginning with the second calendar month following the qualifying six-month period.
If you are a Temporary Employee with coverage and is hired as a Regular Employee, your Temporary Employee coverage will end and you will gain coverage as a Regular employee the first of the month following your date of hire as a Regular Employee.
