I am out on disability and thinking of retiring. What do I need to know about retirement due to disability?

If you are permanently disabled, you must provide us with a copy of your Social Security Award letter. We will prepare the application for you. If you are on temporary disability, you must terminate your employment before you can retire. (Please note that you can only retire under Disability if your commencement date is before age 65.)
