Are dependents covered under the Plan?

Eligible dependents include an employee’s legal spouse or same-sex domestic partner (if not legally separated), dependent child (includes a legally adopted child or a child placed in your care in anticipation of adoption where the adoption is being actively pursued, a step-child, a domestic partner’s child, a child who is the subject of a Qualified Medical Child Support Order under age 26). A totally and permanently disabled unmarried child who is age 26 or older.

Eligible dependent children up to the age of 26 years-old are covered under the Plan.
